We collect no data. That's the policy.
What stays on your device
Everything the game knows about you — your solves, scores, and settings — lives on your device. So does the app's own diagnostics log (crash and hang counts, which screens you used): it is readable only inside the app, under Settings, and leaves the device only if you export it yourself and choose where to send it. On Apple Vision Pro, hand tracking is used only to move the faders when you bring the bench out into the room; visionOS processes it on the device and the app keeps none of it.
Purchase
Circuit Piano is a one-time purchase from the App Store, handled entirely by Apple before the app ever runs. The app itself makes no in-app purchases and checks no entitlement on your device: it reads nothing about your purchase, stores nothing about it, and never sees your payment details. No purchase data reaches us, because none of it is ever in the app's hands.
iCloud sync
If you're signed in to iCloud, your progress syncs between your devices through your private iCloud database (Apple's CloudKit). That data belongs to your Apple Account; it is encrypted in transit, we have no ability to read it, and it is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy. Turning off iCloud for Circuit Piano in Settings stops sync; the game keeps working locally.
Game Center
Leaderboards and achievements are optional and run entirely through Apple's Game Center; the game never signs you in until you tap the Game Center key. What Game Center shares (like your nickname and scores) is controlled by your Game Center settings and Apple's policies, not by us. Decline Game Center and everything else in the game works normally.
Reminders
If you turn on Reminders in Settings, the app schedules an occasional notification on your device inviting you back. These are local notifications — nothing is registered with any server, and there is never more than one waiting.
Results you share
Sharing a result creates an image and a link that carry only the circuit's number and your score — no personal information is embedded. You choose how and with whom to share it.
Deleting your data
Deleting the app removes everything it stored on the device. Your iCloud copy of your progress is yours to remove too: Settings → [your name] → iCloud → Manage Account Storage → Circuit Piano → Delete. There is nothing on our side to delete, because we never had any.
Children
Circuit Piano is rated 4+. Since we collect no data from anyone, we collect no data from children.
Third parties
The app includes no third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking software. The only services it talks to are Apple's — the App Store, iCloud, and Game Center — each under Apple's Privacy Policy.
Changes
If a future update ever changes any of this, we'll update this page and its effective date before the change ships. Given the design of the game — offline-first, no servers — we don't expect to.
